Our Engagement Photography sessions
Congratulations on your Engagement. If you made to this part of our website it probably means that you just got engaged and at the early stages of planning your Engagement Photography and Myrtle Beach or Charleston wedding.
The engagement session is an inseparable part of your wedding. During the engagement session, you can expect us to teach some of the basic posing techniques, which actually make your photos look natural and done correctly, not posed at all.
Simply put, engagement sessions are just fun. 🙂 I am big into picking a location with you that is significant in your lives. Let’s go somewhere that means something to you. And, while we are there, I want to have fun with you. Engagement sessions are so relaxed and light-hearted, and I always end up with fun and energetic images!
One other thing that I really love to do during the engagement session is to introduce some kind of theme. Maybe you two are coffee lovers so we will head over to one of the coffee shops here in the area (Kay and Josh at the Le Cupcake Cafe), and we will do some really fun photos. You love drinking wine, so do we 🙂 by all means bring a bottle of you favorite one, some crackers and cheese and we will do a picnic style session.
Our favorite locations.
Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand area offer an enormous variety of backdrops for the Engagement photography session, from the cotton fields of Conway, South Carolina, it’s beautiful beaches, and century old rice plantations spread throughout the area. We certainly have unlimited options on where to photograph.
Here are the few of our favorite locations in the area:
Myrtle Beach state park – offers a beautiful beach with a pier and a park with nice greenery.
Upper Mill Plantation in Conway – Located right on a Waccamaw river, features old live oak Trees with Spanish moss, also in the fall we have an opportunity to go in the cotton fields.
Caledonia Golf and Fish club – a Magnificent place with so much traditional southern charm.
Magnolia Plantation and Gardens – One of our most favorite places to photograph, with one of the oldest plantations in South Carolina with beautiful bridges, flowers everywhere, bamboo forest, and so much more.
Huntington Beach State Park – Offers gorgeous beaches, marshes and a castle.
